Job description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sonogram Technician to join our medical team in New York City. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating sonographic equipment to perform diagnostic examinations and provide high-quality images for

physician interpretation.

Responsibilities

- Operate ultrasound equipment to produce and record images of

the motion, shape, and composition of blood, organs, tissues, and

bodily masses.

- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and

answering any questions they may have.

- Ensure patient comfort and safety during examinations.

- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to

analyze diagnostic images.

-Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures.

- Ensure equipment is properly maintained and report any

malfunctions.

Qualifications

- Associate degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.

- Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
